Once upon a time...
Born and raised in Merseyside, Mr Williams grew up with a passion for writing and drawing. He studied English at A-Level and went on to pursue an art career at Salford University where he studied Graphic Design.

It was during this time, however, that he began volunteering and then working for children's charity Barnardo's and a career working with young people began. He spent six years as a project worker for Barnardo's, working in disability inclusion and with children in foster care, before a loss of funding forced a change of career.

After initially getting into education with the intention of becoming a teacher, Mr Williams found his calling in a more pastoral role and began work as a learning mentor, whilst studying for a post-graduate degree in therapeutic play studies. It was during this time that he learned the craft of therapeutic story writing and rediscovered his passion for writing. In November 2017 he published his first book, "I'm Not Chicken!" - a story aimed at children who lack confidence in new situations or trying new things.

Mr Williams now aims to entertain and help young people from all different backgrounds through therapeutic story-telling in his own signature rhyming style, with colourful books illustrated by himself. Keep track of the latest news from the world of Mr Williams here on MrWilliamsBooks.co.uk!
